Guilty Pleasures - Laurell K. Hamilton Two stars only because action is good. And no Magic Vagina(TM). But I hate Anita. She is internal misogynist and sexist with a disturbing fetish for infantile men. I like Edward, though. And Phillip. I don't know why - he was obviously tossed there as some bizarre inversion of damaged frail maiden for Anita to be protective of. But I wish there was a book without Anita where Edward meets Phillip and that somehow triggers Phillip to snap out of it and they go on a roaring rampage of vampire-slaying. With LestatJean-Claude, the pinnacle of masculinity in a way only poet shirt can bring out, on the top of the hit list. Please.
